Now then...
Welcome to my attempt at this bloggery lark, and let me say right off the bat that this place is a bit of a mish-mash (that isn't an apology, by the the way). I've been toying with the idea of writing a blog for a while; my own little corner of the interweb where I can hold forth on motoring related topics that fascinate/annoy/please/excite me and find new and interesting ways to waste time while forcing my opinions on the world.
So as I was saying, mish-mash. If you are looking for objective reviews of new cars this is not the place for you, largely because no-one out there will give me a new car to test (and I'm not buying one just to write about it). Likewise if you are looking for the latest motoring related news, best nip off somewhere else because by the time I've read the latest news chances are you have too, so why waste both our time? No, this is just a weekly (possibly twice weekly, depends how much time I spend writing instead of actually working or being a good husband) outlet for my love of cars, driving and anything else I feel like including. I will try to keep my meanderings interesting or amusing and I may occasionally rant, sometimes hysterically. Any feedback, comments, suggestions or random insults will be most welcome - just comment on a blog or yell at me via the "contact me" thingy.
My wife thinks this whole endeavor is a waste of time and little more than an excuse on my part to avoid having to spend time doing manly things around the house with power tools (she may have a point), and is convinced that no one will ever find my website, much less come back a second time. I am hoping the visitor counter thingy proves her wrong, otherwise the inevitable gloating and merciless use of sarcasm will be unbearable.
